RDEČA RAKETA and MAMKA RECORDS have invited various artists to overwrite, overpaint, manipulate and appropriate their own cover artwork from their third vinyl production ...and cannot reach the silence (Ventil Records & Mamka Records 2021). Since 2022, special limited editions, between 3-10 artifacts per artist, have been created. The exhibition will showcase works by Buba Čvorić (NL), Robin Tomens (UK), Karin Fisslthaler (A), RUIN (A), Marta Navaridas (SP/A), Birgit Kellner (A), Martin Egger (A), Leonie Spitzer (A), Nikolaus Gansterer (A), Patrick K.-H. (RU/A), Christopher Sturmer (A), Bernd Oppl (A) and Maja Osojnik (SI/A). The accompanying concerts aim to both provide an overview of the label's previous work and facilitate exchanges and connections, while also introducing future label artists. The exhibition will also include a small preview of Stefan Voglsinger's upcoming album Transceiver. A quadraphonic composition on two record players that invites you to play and listen together. CONCERTS will feature performances by Rdeča Raketa (Maja Osojnik & Matija Schellander) & Patrick K.-H. (video artist), Natascha Gangl (author), Gischt, Fugu (Raumschiff Engelmayer & Heimo Wallner), Angélica Castelló and Maiken Beer. MAMKA Records, a Viennese label, was founded with the goal of celebrating each production as an independent work of art. The label aims to draw attention to creative processes and the charm of absolute unrepeatability. Positioned at the intersection of contemporary experimental music, visual art, and literature, MAMKA represents daring innovation, benevolent radicalism, and the authenticity of the unique. Each edition is crafted with loving dedication and meticulous attention to detail, resulting in truly unique creations.
